Position Summary
The School of Health Sciences at Lasell University is seeking a part-time faculty member for Forensic Science during the upcoming semester (Spring 2025). The School of Health Sciences offers Forensic Science courses as an elective and for students majoring in Forensic Science.

Current Openings include:

• Forensic Science II - Lecture and Laboratories
  • Lecture: Tuesday & Thursdays: 8:00am - 9:15 am
  • Laboratories: Mondays & Wednesdays: 8:00am - 9:30 am

All listings are for in-person classes that are already scheduled. Course times cannot be adjusted, as students are already registered for the courses.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
• Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course learning outcomes.
• Maintain office hours each week and timely communications with students via email and phone.
• Keep accurate records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in forensic science, biology, chemistry or related field required, doctorate preferred.
• Experience teaching Forensic Science courses at the college level.
• Proficiency in maintaining an organized Canvas page and ability to deliver engaging course material.
