AH-64E V6 Maintenance Test Pilots (MTP) for CONUS or OCONUS locations. The MTPs will provide U.S. Army units and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers with the expertise required to conduct maintenance and operational testing of the AH-64E V6 and its subversions, including AH-64Ev6.5. As a critical component of the New Equipment Training Team (NETT), MTPs will deliver specialized training to ensure operational readiness and maintenance excellence.
This position requires highly skilled aviation professionals with extensive experience in AH-64 maintenance operations and a proven ability to perform complex tasks independently. MTPs will report to the Task Lead and work closely with government customers to meet program objectives.
Job Responsibilities: - Conduct maintenance test flights and validation for AH-64E V6 platforms, ensuring aircraft meet operational readiness requirements.
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance personnel, maintainers, and unit staff on maintenance test procedures and operational testing standards.
- Validate and execute Aircraft Series Transition Courses (ASTC) for Maintenance Test Pilots (MTPC) in coordination with Government Flight Representatives (GFR).
- Develop and support the execution of Training Support Plans (TSPs) for AH-64E maintenance test operations and differences training.
- Collaborate on AH-64Ev6 maintenance-related events, including MTP-specific Training Support Plans and developmental processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training and maintenance testing activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful implementation of training and operational objectives.
Qualifications: - Flight Hours:
- Minimum 2000 total flight hours (2500 preferred).
- 300 flight hours in the AH-64 (in accordance with AR 95-20).
- 500 hours of Night Vision Device (NVD) experience.
- 250 required/500 preferred hours of tactical flight experience.
- Certifications:
- Maintenance Test Pilot Course (MTPC) certification (D/E).
- Instrument Pilot Course (IPC) certification (preferred).
- AH-64Ev6, AH-64Ev4, AH-64Dv14 certifications.
- FAA Class 2 flight physical.
- Experience:
- Two Directorate of Evaluation and Standardization (DES) designee qualifications.
- Demonstrated proficiency in maintenance testing and instruction for AH-64 platforms.
- Familiarity with Training Support Plans (TSPs) and Aircraft Series Transition Courses (ASTC) specific to maintenance operations.
- U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) instructor experience.
- Additional Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must hold a Secret clearance.
- Strong knowledge of Army Aviation maintenance and operational testing concepts.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to professionally represent Atrixon to customers and collaborate with diverse teams.
