Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials throughout the U.S. Our experience includes system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.
ECI has an opening for an assistant project manager in Phoenix, AZ. This position requires a basic understanding of contracts, change orders, invoicing, project work scopes, purchase orders and general engineering documents (Company specific On-The-Job-Training for these items will be provided). The successful applicant will provide assistance and technical support to multiple project managers and other office staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma plus 2 years training beyond high school and 5+ years direct work experience in the engineering industry or a bachelors degree in Business or related field (preferred) and 5+ years direct work experience in the engineering industry; excellent organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access), Vantagepoint ERP software knowledge a bonus; occasional travel may be required, therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements . The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
