Annuity Actuary Associate – ASA/FSA Track
Location: South Houston
We are seeking an experienced Annuity Actuary to join our actuarial modeling team. This role is ideal for an ASA with 5+ years of experience in the annuity market and strong modeling skills. The position supports model development and regulatory implementation for a variety of annuity products including Fixed Deferred, Fixed Indexed, SPIA, PRT, and Variable Annuities.
Lead actuarial modeling projects and support implementation of updated regulatory standards (e.g., VM-22)
Collaborate with valuation, assumption, and QA teams
Document model design decisions and ensure compliance with internal standards
Analyze and interpret data to support strategic initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or related field
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA); FSA
5+ years of actuarial experience, with at least 3 years in annuity modeling
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with regulations VM-21 or VM-22 implementation
Familiarity with computer programming tools such as VBA or SQL
