Director and Associate General Counsel/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)
We have been retained by CHOP to fill this position for a lawyer with 10+ years, law firm experience and, ideally, in-house experience as well. This lawyer will serve as the principal legal resource for legal matters arising from the Research Institute, and will focus on research contracts and transactions, research regulatory matters, IP, grants and agreements, and technology transfers.
In addition, this position will work with the other lawyers, and provide support on diverse areas that may arise, such as corporate, finance, compliance, patient, regulatory, or purchasing. This position requires a demonstrated capability for legal research, analysis and reasoning, strong oral and written communication skills, an ability to identify and resolve complicated and sensitive problems creatively and with professional discretion, and an ability to interact and function effectively in a competitive, professional healthcare, academic and research environment.
Three days a week in the office is required.
