Requirements:

• High school diploma or better
• Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD
• 2+ years minimum experience
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
• Ability to work independently and with a team

An Insight Global client is seeking AutoCAD Drafter to support their Telecommunications Engineering division based out of Akron, OH. These technicians will be working to help design telecom related drawings and drafts for their end clients which include both tower companies and large telecom carriers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD working in the telecommunications industry. We are also open to candidates that do not have telecom experience but have strong AutoCAD skills and are quick learners.

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for creation of CAD drawings for appropriate projects

• Projects will be focused in Telecommunications

• Ensure all drawings are formatted to company standards.

• Production/Time management of multiple workflows

• Performing quality checks on plan design drawings

• Maintains good communications between project managers and engineering staff

Compensation:

$20/hr to $25/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
