Automotive Technician Needed in Hays! job at Gpac Hays, KS, US

Job Description

We have partnered with a well-respected and multi-located automotive equipment company and they're actively seeking a Technician to join their team in Hays. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive equipment maintenance, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing issues related to engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Experience in working with air compressors and air tanks is a plus. They're offering competitive pay, great benefits, paid vacation and holidays, and opportunities for OT. Below are further details:

Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on automotive equipment.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Perform maintenance and repairs on air compressors and air tanks.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to management.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Automotive Equipment or Heavy Equipment Technician.
* Familiarity with air compressors and air tanks is a plus.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
