APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Back-End Software Developer.

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89103

Position: Back-End Software Developer

Salary: $90-$120K DOE

Position Summary:

As a Back-End Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications. Your expertise will contribute to the foundation of our gaming platforms and payment systems, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable server-side systems for gaming platforms and payment processing using .NET, C#, Node JS, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into our systems.

Skills / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Software Developer in the gaming or payments industry.
• Proven experience building payment / PCI compliance software applications.
• Experience scaling backend systems, setup monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Software development experience with .Net 8 and TypeScript.
• Experience with C#.
• Strong proficiency in server-side languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with MySQL, Git, and other modern software development tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of API design and relevant software design best practices and design patterns.
• Knowledge of security best practices for web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of secure coding best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Bonus Skills / Experience

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
