Company Description:

17 West is a premiere American Bistro in New Bremen, Ohio. This unique dining experience features a full lunch and dinner menu, daily specials, a wide selection of cocktails and live entertainment. With an upscale, contemporary menu and a casual atmosphere, the restaurant offers options for business lunches, an evening out and everything in between.

Job Duties: 

• Greet guests with enthusiasm upon arrival, attend to guests throughout their stay, and provide a pleasant experience.
• Mix and serve, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink orders, for patrons of the bar and dining room following standard recipes and procedures.
• Ensure customer satisfaction. Be k nowledgeable on menu items, wine lists, and special features.
• Offer cocktail recommendations when requested. Verify age requirements prior to serving alcoholic drinks.
• Assist in developing recipes for new drinks. Prepare garnishes and stock bar at each shift to ensure bar is ready for service. 
• Arrange glasses and bottles to maintain an attractive display. Work in collaboration with other restaurant personnel to maintain a clean bar area adhering to company standards at all times.
• Wash and sanitize glasses, pitchers, mixers, etc. Assist with maintaining inventory and supplies for the bar. Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and practice personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age
• Proven bartending experience with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to handle money and process Point-of-Sales system transactions.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays .

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation is commensurate with experience. Benefits are not applicable to part-time positions.
