Bilingual Haitian Creole Aide – Albertville City Schools (Alabama)

Spur, a digital staffing agency , is seeking hard-working and punctual Bilingual Haitian Creole Aides to support Albertville City Schools .

Position Overview

This role is essential in assisting teachers and school staff in creating a positive and effective learning environment for students. The schedule follows the standard school hours , though additional opportunities outside regular hours are not guaranteed and may be limited. Full-time and on-demand positions are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing instructional materials and maintaining the physical learning environment.
• Help plan and prepare for individual and group activities .
• Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional activities.
• Provide one-on-one and group support to reinforce skills.
• Offer remedial and enrichment assistance as needed.
• Assist in testing and evaluation of student progress.
• Foster positive interactions in the classroom.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by teachers and school staff.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Haitian Creole is required.
• Prior experience working with children is preferred.
• Must obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00).
• Must obtain a Substitute License 
• Must complete required online training .
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. as needed.
• Must be available to work on an on-call basis when required
  
• Must be 18 or Older
• Must have High School Diploma or GED document
• Must have either 48 college crdit hours/associates degree or higher/Workkeys

Compensation & Schedule

• $15.00 per hour .
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (when school is in session). (Hours may vary by location.)
