Clothes Sales Executive

A Clothes Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales, assisting customers, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring an excellent buying experience in a retail clothing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Interaction

1. Greet customers and understand their clothing requirements (size, style, budget, occasion).
2. Provide product recommendations and styling guidance.
3. Support customers during trial-room sessions and provide honest feedback.
4. Resolve queries related to fits, fabrics, and combinations.

2. Sales Achievement

1. Meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
2. Upsell higher-value products and cross-sell matching items (e.g., shirts, trousers, accessories).
3. Promote ongoing offers, discounts, and new arrivals.

3. Product Knowledge

1. Maintain updated knowledge of fabrics, fittings, sizing charts, patterns, and seasonal trends.
2. Explain care instructions and product features clearly.

4. Visual Merchandising

1. Arrange clothes in the store according to category, color, and size.
2. Ensure mannequins are dressed attractively and according to promotions.
3. Maintain neat and clean display racks.

5. Billing & Documentation

1. Assist with billing and payment processing.
2. Handle exchange and return procedures according to company policy.

6. Inventory Management

1. Conduct daily stock checks.
2. Tag products and manage new stock.
3. Report slow-moving and fast-moving items to management.

7. Customer Service

1. Provide a welcoming and respectful experience.
2. Handle complaints professionally.
3. Encourage repeat visits and build customer relationships.
