From $35+ per hour.

RMPT is looking for a CDL-Licensed Field Service Technician based out of our Brighton, CO location. This position will work with heavy-duty and off-highway equipment, including generators. You will perform scheduled and emergency installation, maintenance, and repair for a customer base spread throughout Colorado’s Front Range.

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service in the field and in the shop yard.
• Manage all aspects of critical power systems installation, start-up, and commissioning. Oversee correction of issues arising from commissioning.
• Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on all systems including PLCs, AC/DC, and switch gears.
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on electric power generation equipment, including gas and diesel engines, generators, and transfer switches.
• Coordinate with installing electrical contractors.
• Participate in an On-Call rotation.

What You'll Need:

• CDL license.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with construction equipment, powertrain components, hydraulic systems and components, or diesel and natural gas engines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability on construction equipment, axles, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulics, and diesel and natural gas engines.
• Experience work with diagnostic computers for trouble shooting repairs.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed and resourceful mindset. Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to provide own hand tools and appropriate storage.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
