Express Employment is looking for a Certified Electrical Mechanic. This position requires a California electrician certification and 5-6 years of current experience.

**Hours: **Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (work hours varies)

**Pay: **$27/Hour

**Work Location: **Oroville, CA 95966

Job Description:

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated equipment lines.
• Install and maintain electrical systems across the facility.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics, diagrams, and service manuals.
• Perform diagnostics and determine root causes of electrical malfunctions.
• Repair and replace faulty or expired parts; fabricate/weld as needed.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical checks on motors, belts, and conveyor systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machines (lathe, drill press, grinder, etc.) to make or repair parts.
• Inspect and repair hydraulic and air systems, including cutting, threading, and installing new pipe.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment to correct malfunctions.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and company safety policies.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support Food Safety and Quality systems by reporting problems, verifying compliance, and participating in system reviews.

Requirements:

• State of California Electrician Certification required.
• Minimum 5-6 years of industrial and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Proficient in fabrication and welding.
• Strong understanding of heating/cooling cycles, electrical theory, and machinery operations.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical circuits (AC/DC, single/three phase, series/parallel).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, apply Ohm’s Law, and use multi-meters.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Proficiency with computers and software systems.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
