Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Luxury Hospitality
Remote (50% Travel to Mexico) | Relocation Available
We have been retained for a CTO search with a leading luxury hospitality group. This organization is in a pivotal phase of growth and digital transformation, seeking a visionary technology leader to drive innovation, scalability, and security across its operations.
About the Role:
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s technology strategy, ensuring the seamless integration of ERP, CRM, POS, and business intelligence solutions to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency. Leading a 100+ person team, you will oversee IT Solutions, IT Development, and IT Operations while collaborating with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee digital transformation projects, including ERP (Odoo), CRM, POS, and customer-facing platforms.
- Lead and mentor a team of 100+ IT professionals, including two Directors.
- Manage IT infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and scalability across multiple locations.
- Drive innovation in guest engagement, including mobile apps, extranets, and in-house technology solutions.
- Oversee a $10M+ IT budget, balancing cost efficiency with service excellence.
- Communicate technology strategy effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader in hospitality, luxury services, or a related industry.
- Strong background in ERP customization and deployment, preferably with Odoo.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, network security, and microservices architecture.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing large cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with a strong understanding of LATAM business practices.
- Ability to manage large-scale projects and budgets with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
- Location: Remote (US-based) with 50% travel to Mexico (Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Loreto)
- Relocation: Available for candidates interested in moving to Mexico
- Start Date: Q1 2025 with overlap for onboarding
