They are actively seeking full-time, permanent Psychiatrists specializing in adolescent psychiatry to join their team. The schedule includes a 40-hour workweek with standard 9-5 shifts and one 11-7 shift per week.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatrist to provide specialized psychiatric care for adolescents (ages 5-17) in an inpatient setting. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of young patients while working closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, and nursing staff.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in case discussions, treatment planning meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted Maryland medical license (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and therapeutic skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
