Civil Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

Candidate will work closely with Senior Engineers in the home office to coordinate design of projects across multiple disciplines. Experienced in civil, utilities, water, grading, drainage, sediment control & erosion, stormwater and sewer design. Civil engineering design and project management, creating plans, performing calculations, submittals, and specifications. This is a HYBRID position. (3 days in-office. 2 days WFH):

• Pumping and hydraulics for liquids, slurries and viscous fluids.
• Open Channel flow hydraulics.
• Water and wastewater process design
• Stormwater management design
• Site grading and drainage
• Erosion and sediment control design
• Piping system design - materials, layout, support, anchorage, expansion control
• Earthwork and roadwork design
• Chemical storage and feed systems.
• Residuals Management Systems.
• Sewer and underground utilities design
• Execute work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Complete individual projects and tasks related to overall project.
• Design of grading, drainage, storm water management
• Carry out calculations and analysis and prepare technical memos.
• Prepare engineering plans and specifications.
• Provide engineering services during construction of projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 2 - 5 Years of Experience

Education:

Engineering degree required. BS Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university or similar
