We have an need for a Civil Inspector for a redevelopment project located in Queens, Long Island.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

• Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with nfrastructure standards and project specifications
• Prepare daily reports including description of contractor work activities, labor and equipment identification and quantity
• Review plans to identify potential violations
• Document inspections and report any issues
• Determine the quality of materials being used

• Minimum of 1-5 years engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required
• Self-starter and organized capable of simultaneously working on multiple projects (terminals, buildings, bridges, ports)
• Working knowledge of inspection and testing of mechanical, electrical, fire protection and architectural
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and
• Valid driver’s license is required

• We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment
• Compensation: Min: $83,200 - Max: $104,000
• The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position

Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
