Essential Responsibilities
Class A Local Delivery Driver
● Loading and delivering materials to job sites and internal company locations
● 5 day work week: Monday thru Friday. (occasional Saturdays as required)
● Traveling between pick-up locations and regional branches.
● Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability.
● Communicates necessary information in a timely manner to the Distribution Manager
● Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out
process.
● Assists with transporting company vehicles / assets as needed.
● Performs all duties as scheduled by Distribution Manager and assists as directed to meet branch
needs.
Successful candidates will have the following qualities:
● Previous experience as a Class a pickup/delivery driver.
● Valid/Current Class A CDL with no restrictions and medical card.
● 1 year verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
● Good driving record / MVR.
● Experienced forklift driver with a valid forklift certification.
● Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
● Must be able to lift 50 lbs without difficulty.
● Previous warehouse & forklift experience in a fast paced, LTL environment preferred.
● Must be dependable.
● Analytical thinking with problem solving aptitude.
● Outstanding communication skills.
● Must possess a high school diploma.
● Pass drug tests before and during employment.
