We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our food distribution team. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of food products to various clients and warehouse locations, including the use of a forklift for loading and unloading. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, and holds a valid forklift certification.
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport perishable and non-perishable food items.
Load and unload goods using a forklift and pallet jack.
Inspect truck and trailer before and after each trip for safety compliance.
Ensure all deliveries are made accurately, safely, and on schedule.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery records.
Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure efficient delivery.
Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work areas.
