Customs Entry Writer

My client is looking for someone energetic to to join them as an Entry Writer. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ year of experience in logistics and an understanding of customs regulations and procedures. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods across international borders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and submit customs entries in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
• Ensure accurate documentation for shipments, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required documents.
• Coordinate with clients, customs officials, and internal teams to address inquiries or resolve issues.
• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, trade policies, and compliance requirements.
• Track shipments to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
• Maintain organized records of customs entries and related documentation.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in logistics, customs brokerage, or a related field.
• Knowledge of customs regulations, HTS classification, and trade compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using customs software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
