Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Writer to join our team in Mt. Prospect, IL. This is a short-term contract role with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a background in freight operations, be a quick learner, and possess excellent collaboration and communication skills.



Entry Writer Responsibilities:

• Support daily freight operations and logistics processes
• Utilize Cargowise to manage freight activities
• Input and update data using Excel and internal systems
• Collaborate with team members across multiple locations to ensure smooth workflows
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a dynamic and team-oriented office environment

Entry Writer Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in freight or logistics
• Cargowise experience strongly preferred (candidates with this experience will be prioritized)
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (primarily for data entry; not formula-intensive)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent soft skills:
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Willingness to ask questions and seek support as needed
• Comfortable working in a professional office environment
