Job Description

This is a six month contract with likelihood of either extension or conversion.

General Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in data entry and be proficient in entering, updating, and maintaining various types of data into company databases or systems. As a Data Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our data is accurate, complete, and accessible, contributing to the smooth operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter data into internal systems, spreadsheets, and databases in a timely manner.
  • Verify and review data for errors or inconsistencies, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
  • Update and maintain existing records, ensuring data is kept up to date.
  • Perform data validation and clean-up tasks to improve database quality.
  • Assist in generating reports, queries, and summaries as required by the team.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure seamless data transfer and integration.
  • Perform basic administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve data-related issues when necessary.
  • Follow best practices and industry standards for data management and entry procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. An Associate’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience in a professional setting.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or other data entry software.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain discretion.
