Job Title: RN - Acute Dialysis

Location: Burlington, VT 05401

Shift: 10-hour days

Contract Duration: 26 weeks with possible

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) for Acute Dialysis will be responsible for providing care to patients requiring dialysis in an acute setting. This role requires flexibility in shift scheduling, including 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts as needed, along with call rotations. Apheresis experience is preferred. Prior experience in a large teaching facility and with very sick patients in an acute care unit is required. EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acute Dialysis Care: Provide dialysis treatments for patients in an acute setting.
• Call Requirements: One day of call every 7 days, including weekend call rotation.
• Shift Flexibility: Must be able to flex between 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts as required.

Requirements:

• Certifications: Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: Prior experience in an acute care unit, working with very sick patients, required. Apheresis experience is preferred.
• EMR: EPIC experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Transportation: Reliable personal transportation required, as public transportation is not available in the area. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
