Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair of refrigeration units and auxiliary power units
  • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all components
  • Positively interface with Service Writers, leadership team, the parts department, drivers, vendors, and customers
  • Keep paperwork updated and submitted upon completion
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Meet and maintain labor efficiency goals
  • Meet requirements for certifications

Expectations:

  • Remain drug and alcohol free while on Company premises and within the scope of duty
  • Understand and comply with all Sanco Enterprises policies and procedures
  • Observe safety and security policies and procedures and use equipment and materials accordingly
  • Duties may be added, deleted, or modified at any time, at the discretion of management, via written, verbal, formal, or informal means

Experience:

  • Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • Diesel engine experience
  • Technical degree or certification is a plus

Skills:

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office skills

Abilities:

  • Work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Use computers for web-based training and work order system
  • Work independently in a field service environment while displaying a professional and confident relationship with the customer
  • Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Possess a clean driving record
  • Pass a DOT approved physical
