UniFirst Corporation is recruiting for the following position located in Owensboro, KY.

Direct Embroidery Operator

Job Summary:

Operates multiple, multi‐head embroidery machines simultaneously, to embroider company, wearer
names, shop titles, and other decorative designs on woven fabric. Emblem Embroidery is an incentive pay
based position. Job will require participation and compliance to all policies and procedures related to ISO
(quality) and safety.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk; bend at the waist and kneel. Use hands to finger; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

Language Skills: Required to read and write English and follow verbal and/or written instructions. 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical functions. 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
