Zero Prime is a venture capital firm backing Day 0 engineer-founders at the forefront of data, AI, and developer infrastructure. We're also the team behind the Data Council ( conference series, a global community of builders and technologists.

The Role

We're looking for a highly-organized  Director of Ops to help us scale our internal operations and support our growing platform activities (like Data Council, LP communications and founder tools). This is a high-impact role working closely with our Founder and team across event logistics, fund operations and partner coordination.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate planning and logistics for Zero Prime & Data Council programs (e.g., events, conferences, fellowship program, investor updates)
  
• Support internal ops (CRM, scheduling, tracking systems, reporting)
  
• Help manage vendors, contractors, and key partner relationships
  
• Track team OKRs and project timelines, keeping the team aligned and moving
  
• Assist with community touchpoints like speaker follow-up, founder onboarding, and event communications
  
• Bring process improvements to how we run meetings, manage docs, and scale repeatable work
• Work with our community to build high-value sub-networks of corporate partners and portfolio customers

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in operations, event production, program management, VC platform or a similar role at a startup or venture fund
  
• Detail-oriented and reliable — you keep the trains running on time. We especially value a high energy person in this role!
  
• Strong project management and communication skills
  
• A self-starter who's comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
• Previous experience in either the data + AI ecosystem or venture capital required
