Electrical Engineer – Control Systems & Panel Design

Location: Joplin, Missouri | Travel: ~20% | Full-time

In this role, you’ll:

• Design and implement complete electrical control systems, including ladder logic and schematic layouts
• Collaborate directly with the production team to manage control panel builds (~200 per year)
• Travel (~20%) to service sites for new system installations and field support
• Develop and document schematics in SolidWorks Electrical (training support available)
• Own logistics tasks like posting inventory, closing work orders, and shipping finished panels

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a BSEE or equivalent in electrical engineering or controls
• Can program PLC and servo systems from scratch and develop I/O logic
• Is hands-on —you’re not afraid to turn a wrench or jump into panel builds
• Has some exposure to SolidWorks or similar CAD tools (you’ll build skill fast here)
• Comes from a manufacturing or industrial background and enjoys a plant-floor pace
