Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on electrical system experience
- Experience with electrical system validation, verification, troubleshooting and circuitry repair
- Understanding of PPE and NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Practices
- Detail oriented and able to accurately capture as-built conditions using CAD drawings
- Current Journeyman Electrical License and ability to lift 50 pounds
- Active Secret Security Clearance, or ability to obtain

Job Description
A company in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician (Night Shift) to join their team. This Electrical Maintenance Tech will be responsible for electrical system validation and verification, troubleshooting, and repairing circuit components. This includes circuit tracing, visual inspection, load banking, de-energizing and re-energizing circuitry depending on risk assessment, and configuration management such as documentation of as-built condition using CAD drawings and panel schedules. This Technician will also perform circuit component repair/replacement, troubleshoot system circuitry problems, perform infrared scanning of circuitry panels and switch gear, and perform other maintenance duties such as routine rounds to all mechanical and electrical rooms and operation of the uninterruptible power system (UPS - Eaton). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and coordinate closely with internal and external customers, have familiarity with a Windows-based work order system (Maximo), and have a strong understanding of PPE and NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Practices.
