Position Overview

The Electrical Supervisor will assist on oversight of all aspects of residential electrical projects for Freshwater & Sons. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and teams while ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential electrical systems and exceptional leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities as an Electrical Supervisor-

• Project Oversight : Provide support and assistance to the Project Manager. Plan, manage, and execute residential electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Team Management : Supervise and support electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors to maintain high-quality standards.
• Client Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service.
• Budget Management : Create and monitor project budgets, manage expenditures, and approve cost variations.
• Technical Expertise : Review electrical designs, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with NEC codes.
• Problem Solving : Address project challenges proactively, providing solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Quality Assurance : Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to safety protocols and company quality standards.
• Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive project records, including schedules, reports, and as-built documentation.

Qualifications for an Electrical Supervisor-

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential electrical project management.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes, residential construction methods, and electrical system installations.
• Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
