A leading communications agency specializing in entertainment, social good, tech, and lifestyle is seeking a strategic and dynamic Account Director to join its Entertainment and Events Media Relations team in Los Angeles. Known for delivering impactful campaigns and representing high-profile clients, the agency thrives on creativity, collaboration, and making meaningful connections.

The Account Director will lead client accounts, develop innovative media strategies, and execute high-profile campaigns across entertainment projects such as awards shows, premieres, festivals, and content launches. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in entertainment PR, strong media relationships, and a proven ability to manage accounts and teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive media and communications strategies for entertainment events, content, and talent.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring campaign goals are met.
• Oversee PR efforts for high-profile entertainment events, working seamlessly with talent, partners, and vendors.
• Manage and mentor account teams, implementing collaboration and professional development.
• Contribute to new business proposals and support agency growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in public relations, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in entertainment-related projects and events.
• Strong relationships with entertainment and consumer media outlets.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to develop and execute big-picture strategies.
• Team-oriented, with a collaborative mindset and flexibility to work evenings/weekends or travel as needed.

Salary Range: $100,000 - 110,000
