Job Description

The Role:

•Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all organization hosted events throughout the calendar year. •Event/Meeting planning and coordination for large conferences, monthly board meetings, networking events, and membership meetings annually. •Responsible for venue evaluation/booking, speaker scheduling, sponsorship coordination, event registration, and catering. •Ensure seamless event execution by managing logistics, coordinating stakeholders, and enhancing the overall attendee experience.

Must Have Requirements: • 2+ years of event planning/coordination experience • High School Diploma/GED • MS Office skills- Excel, MS Teams, and Outlook required. MS Project preferred • Proficiency with event registration platforms (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.)

Plusses: • CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or equivalent certification. • Experience planning defense, government, or technology-related conferences.
