Job Title: Executive Butler / House Manager

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay: $90,000 - $100,000

This is a full time/salary exempt role. You will have access to medical, dental, 401K and other benefits and will be paid weekly.

Position summary:

We are seeking a personable and organized Executive Butler with housekeeping duties to manage the daily operations of a beautiful 10,000-square-foot home and a two-acre property. This role is perfect for someone who loves making others feel at home and enjoys a blend of estate management, butler service, and light housekeeping. The candidate will be supporting a single male resident in this serene and prestigious setting. HOSPITALITY is very important in this role!

Key Responsibilities:

Butler Duties:

• Provide thoughtful and attentive service, managing basic schedules, organizing events, and assisting with personal requests (car wash, tidiness daily, minimal shopping, etc.). Ensure the resident and their guests feel truly cared for, from serving meals to ensuring every detail is just right. Must have a welcoming, positive attitude and common sense with critical thinking skills. Problem solving a must. In addition, you will be required to drive on occasion, taking the owner to various functions.

Estate Management :

• Oversee the estate's daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Coordinate with a housekeeper who comes once a week, keeping the home in perfect order and ready to welcome guests at any time.

Housekeeping :

• Maintain the home's tidiness throughout the week, oversee household inventory, and ensure everything is in its place, so the home always feels inviting and comfortable. Must know how to organize and keep areas tidy. Knowledge of various cleaners and how they are utilized. Ability to use washer and dryer correctly. Taking care of dry cleaning etc. This is a small part of the job, but none the less when needed is very important.

Tech savvy:

• This is a smart home with technology and automation to make life simpler. The estate is equipped with software to manage audio, video, lighting, cameras etc. All these will be maintained by the estate manager.

• Live on campus in your own newly renovated two room studio apartment. Includes full kitchenette and full shower. You have your own entrance. This is a beautiful space that could rent for $3,000 plus a month. The living quarters of the apartment is for one person only. It includes all utilities and internet.

• You will work on one of the most beautiful estates in Point Loma. The owner wants you to enjoy the campus and use the grounds with discretion.
