Job Description

Our client is a media company. They seek a Finance Manager to join their Jersey City, NJ office.

Responsibilities

Ensure continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process
Perform flux analysis, account reconciliations, and budget to actual review
Prepare corporate and subsidiary budgets for forecasting
Maintain cash flows and customer and vendor relationship management
Oversee all ERP functions including new subsidiaries and adding accounts
Run and present financial reports and assist in internal/external audits
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Review and maintain the financial health of the organization

Requirements

6+ years of finance/accounting experience
Experience with budgeting and forecasting
Media industry background preferred
International accounting experience preferred
Revenue recognition knowledge is a plus
CPA strongly preferred
Skilled in Excel and NetSuite required
