Double D Piping is looking for experienced fire alarm technicians! We are expanding into several areas within 5 states to perform installations, inspections and services for commercial/residential/industrial fire alarm & detection systems.
Responsibilities
Perform fire device installations & inspections per approved plans; install wire & cable per approved plans & AHJ requirements; install & inspect fire control panels, power supplies and CS communicators per approved plans and AHJ requirements. Some tasks may require short trips out-of-town or out-of-state (full Per Diem provided, all Hotels, food, etc. are provided by the Company)
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED;
Ability to pass an FBI Background Check (a TN fire alarm license requirement)
A Clean Driving Record
Ability to perform projects or jobs out-of-area for short-term assignments from time to time
Ability to perform the responsibilities listed above, preferably with little supervision
NICET certification(s) in any fire alarm/protection subfields is a plus (but not required);
Fire alarm OEM/Manufacturer training is a plus (but not required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
