**Job Title:** Forklift Operator / Order Picker **Location:** Phoenix, AZ 85027 **Pay Rate:** $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (depending on experience) **Employment Type:** Temporary Position **Start Date:** ASAP **Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (30-minute lunch) **Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator / Order Picker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for order picking, stocking, and managing materials within a racking system where all items have a designated location. The position requires experience with forklifts, including swing reach and sit-down models. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move pallets of materials, weighing a few hundred pounds each. + Utilize the racking system to locate and stock items accurately. + Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders. + Spend 25% of your time operating the forklift, typically at the beginning of shifts, end of breaks, or during downtime. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment. **Qualifications:** + 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts, including swing reach and stand-up reach models. + Ability to operate a forklift with proficiency and safety. + Familiarity with inventory management and order picking processes. + Steel-toed boots are required for this position. + Willingness to work overtime when necessary, including early arrivals, late stays, or potential Saturday shifts. **Application Process:** If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the qualifications, please submit your resume for consideration.
