Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

  • I require 4 years of GEOINT experience.
  • GEOINT Education/Training in lieu of experience may include:
  • - An Associate’s degree can be substituted for 2 years of experience.
  • - A Bachelor’s degree can be substituted for 3 years of experience.
  • - A Master’s degree can be substituted for 2 years of experience.
  • - A PhD can be substituted for 3 years of experience.
  • - Professional certifications can account for 0.5 years of experience.
  • I seek candidates with experience using all existing types of commercial and NTM imagery sources for analysis.
  • Candidates should have experience conducting search missions with softcopy tools.
  • I need individuals who have experience operating IEC softcopy exploitation workstations.
  • I prefer candidates with experience identifying military installations and conducting military infrastructure and order of battle analysis.
  • Experience conducting historical imagery research is also essential.
Responsibilities:
  • My GEOINT Analysts will conduct GEOINT analysis on national security issues by utilizing multiple sources of geospatial data, specialized imagery, and geospatial tradecraft.
  • They will integrate multi-intelligence source content, coordinate across communities of interest, and reach back to support elements and/or mission partners to obtain GEOINT support.
  • I expect them to provide timely, relevant, and accurate GEOINT analysis of military, regime, and humanitarian issues to policymakers, allied organizations, military, and the IC.
  • They will publish formal written products with little to no editing, including but not limited to Cedalion database remarks, baseline descriptions, PULSE reports, and GEOINT Notes.
  • They should conduct multi-INT research to support or provide background for imagery analysis against mission-specific issues.
  • Applying structured observation management (SOM) and activity-based intelligence (ABI) techniques to the topic is part of the job.
  • They will coordinate and collaborate with NGA, DoD, IC, ASG, and foreign partners on issues of common concern.
  • The role includes conducting GEOINT analysis against issues in assigned AOR, using various methodologies, and utilizing spatial-temporal data derived from imagery and intelligence databases.
  • They will create shapefiles, geo-databases, and data retrieval/storage to support intelligence analysis.
  • I require them to extract and acquire geospatial information, derivative information, and multi-INT data for analysis, visualization, and modeling.
  • They must prioritize multiple tasks and remain flexible under changing requirements.
  • Producing descriptive and/or predictive analyses and communicating findings, whether written, visual, or oral, is essential.
  • They will also produce non-standard and/or informal products with little to no editing, including graphics, infographics, maps, and briefings tailored to mission-specific issues.

I have openings for both mid and senior levels! Additionally, I am looking for candidates with 10 years of GEOINT experience, regional expertise in the AOR, and expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, or image processing. A strong knowledge of the intelligence collection process, including NGA's relationships with other IC Agencies, is highly desired. Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, database entry, and graphic design principles would be a strong asset.

Security clearance requirements include an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Poly. Physical requirements for this position state that the hired individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time, communicate and exchange information with peers and senior personnel, and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
