Groundskeeper

Full Time: 40 hours/week

Hourly: Compensation is commensurate with experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Levco Management is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain a property located in North Chesterfield, VA in a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing manner. This position is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' general labor experience.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (required).
• Desire to train, learn and develop maintenance skills.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly without assistance.
• Position requires frequent bending and/or stooping when removing debris and trash from. property grounds and performing other grounds-keeping and maintenance tasks.
• The position requires the ability to work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit and the ability to personally perform general groundskeeping and maintenance tasks without endangering themselves, residents, and other employees.
• Successful candidates must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with apartment turnovers.
• General grounds daily.
• Assist with work orders.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs.
• Completing thorough inspections of the common areas on a regular basis.
• Position requires the employee to be able to use general cleaning equipment and tools including but not limited to hand tools, paint equipment, ladders, cleaning chemicals, vacuums, blowers, and hoses.
• Any other duties assigned to you by your supervisor.
