Job Summary
  The Human Resource Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and valuation of the human resource function.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages all Human Resources functions : Plans, directs, and implements policies for all areas of the human resources function including staffing, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety and compliance.
• Creates Policies and Programs to Align with Company Goals : Creates, administers, and innovates human resources programs and policies to support company goals and positively engage the workforce.   Implements employee training programs and management development initiatives.
• Maintains Legal Compliance : Advises leadership on all human resources issues with broad and current subject matter knowledge that includes expertise in federal and state employment laws.
• Prepares and Manages Budgets : Prepares and manages operating budgets for human resources and makes recommendations for funding that drives workforce productivity.
• Provides Reporting on HR Metrics :  Reports regularly to the executive team on employee turnover, retention, recruiting, benefits, employee engagement, exit interviews, etc.
• Provides Compensation Analysis and Recommendations : Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation, and administration of the organization's wage and salary program.

• Develops and enhances company culture initiatives

• Leads a team of HR professionals

• Bachelors Degree; masters degree preferred; minimum 7 years of experience as HR professional with a minimum of 3 years of team lead experience.

• HRMS software system familiarity; payroll processing

• PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP

• Experience in the oil and gas industry is helpful but not required
