Job Description

Our client, a children’s apparel company, is hiring a Social Media Manager to join their marketing team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (4 days in office). The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about social media, content creation, and influencer marketing, with a strong grasp of platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Job Duties Include:

  • Oversee social media activities across multiple brands and platforms
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and conversion on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Maintain the company’s social media profiles, including content creation, curation, scheduling, publishing, and community management
  • Build and manage social media editorial calendars to drive engagement, celebrate key brand moments, and boost sales throughout the year
  • Leverage social media platforms to drive e-commerce sales
  • Manage link shops, Instagram shopping, and other social commerce tools to increase traffic and conversion rates
  • Produce visually appealing video and static content
  • Capture on-brand content by filming, photographing, and utilizing editing apps, as well as attending photoshoots and borrowing garments
  • Identify and manage influencer partnerships and content collaborations
  • Collaborate with influencer marketing agencies, managing timelines and overall campaign execution
  • Execute ongoing influencer gifting programs and manage in-house or affiliate-based influencer platforms to maintain engagement
  • Maintain knowledge of childrenswear category and monitor competitive trends and emerging opportunities
  • Discover influencers, celebrities, and user-generated content for collaboration and opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, trends, and platform updates
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall business objectives
  • Develop and track social media KPIs in collaboration with marketing leadership
  • Analyze metrics and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement

Job Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with community management is required
  • Preferred experience in social media within a direct-to-consumer environment
  • Apparel industry experience is a plus
  • Proven track record in social media management, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and content creation across multiple platforms
  • Strong experience in influencer marketing, including direct collaboration with creators, managing agency-led campaigns and using influencer platforms or affiliate networks
  • Experience with affiliate marketing is a plus
  • Ability to create and curate content for social media platforms
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software
  • Knowledge of Dash Hudson is a plus
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data optimize strategies
  • Familiarity with GA4 is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across departments

Salary: $95- $115K annually
