General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Intern - Technical Support (Quality Assurance Engineer) to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

• Support the Quality Control Assurance group in all aspects of Quality development. This would include:
  • Interfacing with Engineering, Manufacturing and Production personnel.
  • Solving manufacturing floor problems, writing inspection instructions, working with Tooling department to provide solutions to production solutions.
  • Working with Lean Teams to make processes more efficient.
  • Documentation of cause and corrective actions.
  • Set-up and maintenance of statistical process control areas.

Completed a minimum of 2 years in an Engineering discipline, working towards a BS.

This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.
