At LSR we have started helping a company grow their client facing side of the business, and they are searching for an International Sales Manager, specifically for the APAC region! They specialise in laboratory equipment in Viscometry, and are a global high-tech company based in the Bay Area of California.

In this role, you will be tasked to manage and pursue international sales opportunities from existing leads and new prospects within the region. If you have prior work experience with distributors in the APAC region and have a background in the sciences this could be the next step for you.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving international sales growth by developing key partnerships, accounts, and channels in the APAC region.
• Participate in planning and strategy meetings by researching market trends, understanding specific customer needs, and presenting opportunities for customer engagement and penetration of the company’s advanced technology and products into the global markets.
• Manage existing customers and generation of new international sales through strengthening and expanding distribution channels; prospecting, lead generation, follow-up, and collaboration to exceed annual sales goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Biotechnology, or a related technical specialty is preferred.
• Has demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and proven leadership for technical selling, marketing, and application development.
• Minimum of at least three 3 years of demonstrated experience in developing and managing international sales, business accounts, and channels.
• Previous expereince in the handling and organisation of distributors in the APAC region.
