Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, construction, and field service, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. The Journeyman Plumber will ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Perform construction plumbing tasks such as pipe threading and building new systems.
  • Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide solutions.
  • Read blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems and ensure compliance with local codes.
  • Lift heavy materials and equipment as needed for installations and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as HVAC technicians to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Ability to follow direction of 2 Master Plumbers.
  • Help apprentices learn the trade.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
  • Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with plumbing tasks.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
