Job Description

You'll provide personalized, in-person tutoring to young learners, helping them grow and develop in foundational math, reading, and writing. Our focus is on creating individualized learning plans that align with classroom curricula and the student's learning style.

Responsibilities: 
- Conduct in-person, one-on-one, in-person tutoring sessions with individually    
matched elementary school-age students located close to you (in the greater    
Kensington, Bethesda, or Silver Spring areas).  
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans.
- Communicate progress and goals with parents.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications:
- Passion for teaching and engaging with younger students.
- Strong knowledge of elementary subjects, particularly ELA and numeracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.

Experience:
- Experience in tutoring or teaching elementary school subjects is a plus.
