Mark Schroeder & Company (Schro Co.), a leader in San Diego landscape contracting, is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations and field teams. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality service, efficient team management, and seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:✅ Maintain all maintenance contracts and customer records.
✅ Oversee and train field personnel on maintenance equipment.
✅ Ensure routine upkeep of office buildings and grounds.
✅ Manage and dispatch subcontractors for landscape maintenance projects.
✅ Schedule workforce allocations and material deliveries.
✅ Supervise multiple landscape maintenance projects and ensure timely completion.
✅ Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.
✅ Recruit, hire, evaluate, and manage field staff.
✅ Estimate and sell maintenance and enhancement work.
✅ Conduct client walkthroughs and manage customer relations.
Requirements:✔️ Prior experience in landscape maintenance management.
✔️ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✔️ Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate resources effectively.
✔️ QAC & QWEL Certifications (or willingness to obtain).
✔️ Valid California Driver’s License with insurability.
✔️ CPR & First Aid certification preferred.
