Role: (Temp) Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Duration: 1-2 months

Location: Seattle, WA – 1 day on-site, 4 days WFH

Pay: $35/hr. - $45/hr.

LHH is looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal with 2+ years of experience to temporarily join our client’s team.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee case management, including document organization, deadline tracking, and coordinating with local counsel.
• Prepare and organize legal documents, forms, charts, and correspondence.
• Review and summarize depositions and records.
• Assist in deposition preparation, ensuring attorneys are well-equipped in advance.
• Support attorneys in hearing preparation.
• Manage document production and discovery processes.
• Draft discovery requests and responses.
• Request and track documents and records.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive document index.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience or completion of an accredited Paralegal Program.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office, including Word and Excel.

Required

• WA state rules and procedural knowledge
• E-filing experience within WA state
• Ability to go on-site 1 day a week
