Job Description

Lubbock, TX is hiring LVNs! This is a Psych/Behavioral Health facility working with patients with intellectual disabilities.

Duties: Passing meds, assessments, charting, LTC

Need: Psych LPN/LVN with minimum 1 year experience

Must have no past misdemeanors or past discipline on license

Length of Contract: 26 weeks

3 LVNs: 2pm-10pm

1 LVN: 10pm-6am

These all require working at least 32 hours and 2 weekends on/1 weekend off.

Job Duties:

1. Administers medications and treatments orally, rectally, internally, or by injection .
2. Documents and reports pertinent observations
3. Communicates orally and in writing to other team members’ pertinent information. Documents according to facility policy.
4. Manages individual’s medical record in Electronic Health Record or paper chart.
5. Assists other staff in turning/repositioning individuals to administer treatments

Job Requirements for all candidates:

• Must be licensed LVN and able to practice in Texas
• Preferably 1+ year experience
• Experience needs to be hospital acute care, LTC, community clinics, public health, etc. (not Home Health or School Nurse)

Compensation $42-44/hr
