Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - School - Travel Position Location: Federal Way, WA Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 39 weeks Shift: 5x8s Days Pay: $1937/week Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate School Nurse (LPN) to support the health and well-being of students in an educational setting. The School Nurse will provide basic medical care, administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to health emergencies, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment. The ideal candidate is caring, detail-oriented, and committed to promoting student health and wellness. Key Responsibilities: * Provide direct nursing care, including first aid and illness management, to students and staff. * Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders. * Monitor and support students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, allergies). * Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with state health regulations. * Educate students, staff, and families on health, safety, and wellness practices. * Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student needs. * Respond promptly to health-related emergencies within the school.
