Job Description

Ambassador Personnel is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their client in the Huntersville, NC area. This is a direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits, paid holidays, PTO, 401k and a flexible schedule. The Maintenance Technician will need to have some experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair. To be successful, the Maintenance Technician will need some basic industrial maintenance knowledge and a willing to learn attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnoses, repairs, and overhauls the electrical components of critical production equipment.
• Assist with installing and configuring new or replacement electrical motors, sensors, and controls
• Quickly responding to and resolving electrical failures or breakdowns on the production floor
• Assist in servicing and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation and control devices
• Troubleshoot variable frequency, DC motor drive systems, servos, and steppers.
• Use common electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot to determine root cause of equipment failure and perform corrective maintenance accordingly.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
