Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking Machine Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Winston Salem, NC

Shift: 4pm-4am Sun, M, Tue the first week and S, M, T, W the second week

Pay Range: $25hr-$35hr

What's the Job?

• Supports new installations of mechanical equipment to comply with safety and code requirements.
• Plans mechanical work to be performed from written or verbal information.
• Troubleshoots and determines root causes of equipment failures and dismantles devices as needed to access and remove defective parts.
• Makes necessary repairs of mechanical equipment
• Performs major teardowns and rebuilds of equipment and machinery.

What's Needed?

• Multi-craft industrial maintenance experience
• Experience with hand and power tools used in mechanical and plumbing trades.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and equipment manuals.
• Forklift operator license and hazardous material handling certification.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with Secret Level Clearance required.
