Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) | 4-Day Workweek

Take your mammography skills to a fast-paced imaging center where you'll work with state-of-the-art GE equipment and provide top-quality care.

*******This is a 13-week contract or permanent position.******

You'll handle 33-35 images per day on screening days and 20-30 on diagnostic days, ensuring each patient feels comfortable and supported throughout the process.

What You'll Do:

• Guide patients through the imaging process, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Review medical history, screen for implants or allergies, and verify prior imaging.
• Perform high-quality scans and submit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain imaging equipment, report quality concerns, and transfer images as needed.
• Work closely with Radiologists, Lead Technologists, and management to optimize workflow.
• Educate patients on breast self-examinations as needed.

What You'll Bring:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Registry in Mammography (M)
• Complete 40 hours of mammography orientation
• Complete 8 hours of 3D tomosynthesis training (if applicable)
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
